Father John was the founder of the English-<br>speaking parish in Victoria, which was officially registered 36 years ago, in April<br>1988. By the will of God, St. Sophia Parish and its rector had a special obedience<br>in our Diocese \u2013 to preach the Orthodox faith to the people born and raised in<br>British Columbia.
