  Всѣмъ о.о. настоятелямъ приходовъ Канадской Епархiи.

  Въ нынѣшнемъ году Свято-Германовскiй молодежный съѣздъ, съ помощью Божiей, пройдетъ въ США, при храмѣ Рождества Пресвятой Богородицы, что въ Олбани, Н.I. (Nativity of the Mother of God Church, 617 Sand Creek Road, Albany, NY, тел: (518) 869-3932 • www.albanyrocor.org), съ 9/22 по 13/26 декабря.

  Вотъ уже болѣе 45 лѣтъ Свято-Германовское движеніе предоставляетъ нашей Православной молодежи уникальную возможность собраться вмѣстѣ, чтобы узнать другъ друга, принять участіе въ общихъ дискуссіяхъ, послушать лекцiи на исключительно Православныя тѣмы, и наконѣцъ, что въ смыслѣ духовномъ самое главное, поговѣть и причаститься Святыхъ Христовыхъ Таинъ въ день памяти Прeп. Германа 12/25 декабря.

  Дабы всемѣрно способствовать успѣху этого важнаго дѣла, предписываемъ, чтобы по всѣмъ приходамъ Канадской Епархiи въ воскресенье, 10/23 ноября, послѣ Божественной Литургiи состоялся тарелочный сборъ на нужды Свято-Германовскихъ съѣздовъ.

  Каждый приходъ, по мѣрѣ возможности, долженъ постараться оплатить участiе хотя бы одного представителя молодежи изъ среды прихожанъ въ Свято-Германовскомъ съѣздѣ. Средства, которые, какъ мы надѣемся, будутъ собраны, предназначаются для помощи тѣмъ, кому самостоятельно прибыть на съѣздъ было бы затруднительно.

  Объ этомъ сборѣ и о цѣляхъ его должно быть предварительно объявлено съ амвона.

  Ни въ коемъ случаѣ не слѣдуетъ забывать, что наша молодежь – это будущее нашей Церкви и потому намъ необходимо ея всячески поддерживать.

  Please, remember, that the St Herman’s youth conference for more than four decades continues its mission to provide a rare opportunity for all of our Orthodox youth to meet together, to become acquainted, to participate in group discussions and to listen to lectures of a purely Orthodox character, and finally and most importantly, to prepare for and receive communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ on the feast day of St Herman, 12/25 December.

  In connection with this, I urgently request that all the reverend rectors take up a special collection on Sunday, November 19 of this year in our parishes at the end of the Divine Liturgy to help defray the costs of organizing this conference. The funds which we hope will be collected are intended to help those who would find it difficult to come to the conference on their own.

  I would also ask that this be announced from the ambo prior to the collection taking place.

  It is also asked of each parish to sponsor al least one representative from amongst the youth – to take part in the St. Herman’s Conference.

  Please do not forget that our youth is our future. We must support it!
