The children, the counsellors and the volunteers confessed in order to approach the Chalice in the morning, at the Divine Liturgy.
Protopriest Viatcheslav Davidenko, cleric of the Holy Trinity cathedral in Toronto, head of the diocesan youth committee and long term spiritual director of the camp heard confessions.
On Monday morning, for the feast of the holy princes and passionbearers Boris and Gleb, his eminence served the hierarchical Divine Liturgy assisted by protopriest Viatcheslav Davidenko and protodeacon Alexander Morin, also a cleric of the Holy Trinity cathedral in Toronto.
A graduate of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary, reader Seth Davidenko conducted the choir.
After the service and lunch, vladyka had a wonderful spiritual conversation with the campers and answered their questions.
Vladyka and the clergy wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the camp director Alexander Sakuta and all the volunteers for such a warm reception.
